One of the benefits of being a BRPCG member is the use of the guilds extensive library. The library is supported by guild funds, book /magazine/video donations and funds received from overdue fines and rental fees.
To enjoy the use of the library, you must be a member, in good standing, for a full three months before borrowing from the library. (Example – Joining at the February meeting, member would be able to borrow from the library at the May meeting.)
Members may borrow up to three items per month, only one of which may be a DVD. Books/magazines may be borrowed by current members for one month at no charge. Late fee is $2.00 per month with a maximum of $10.00. One DVD may be borrowed at a charge of $3.00. If a DVD is not returned, it will simply be rented ($3) for another month. This will be done for only one month.
Members may not borrow from the library if they have not returned overdue items or if they have unpaid library fines. If a member loses a library item, they must pay the replacement value (including shipping and/or sales tax) to the guild. Alternatively, they may purchase it themselves and give it to the guild librarian.
Another benefit to our members is our online Google Group demo library. Each meeting the demonstration is recorded and then downloaded to the Google Drive which is available to all current members any time, 24/7. The demonstrations that have been recorded date back to 2016. There are supply lists also available for many of the demos on the Google Drive as well.
